While no cases of the virus have been suspected in our area, we will continue to closely follow reports and information shared by public health officials. Currently for prevention, we are following the recommendations of public health authorities. Similar to measures taken to prevent the spread of everyday illnesses, like the flu and common cold, these measures include: Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based sanitizer of 60% alcohol or higher Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
